Fire series rubber ski blocks
Fire series rubber ski blocks
Is anyone re-poping the rubber ski blocks for the fire series sleds? They always seem to break in half. I think the rubber is just so old and hard that it gets brittle? Must be a common problem because I have about 10 sets of broken ones! Haha!

I was just looking into it. That 420 liquifire is missing them and the Sprint/Snows are hard to come by as well.
I think they could simply be waterjeted out of sheets of rubber.

Joe repoping the rubber bushings (both upper and lower) for the 100 series ski spindles would a godsend.
Every sled I have ever touched needed them. Thanks for your concideration.

Re: Fire series rubber ski blocks
Hi have these blocks ever been re-produced (M66280)? Horicon Joe, if your willing to share the print, I can look into getting them made.
I am rebuilding my front end on my 1981 Sportfire. I made tooling to re-arch the leaf springs and got them back into shape, worked out perfectly, now getting the skis powder coated.
Appreciate any information that I can get on those rubber blocks, thanks!
