vandeursen ,
Start with the simple things first. Change both fuel filters.( 1 inside fuel tank, 1 external)
Check the needle / seats in the carbs for dirt.
Check the operation of the fuel pump. ( remove fuel lines to carbs and place them in a jar and run or turn over engine to see if gas is flowing.
if you have a carb leak detector, you can test the diaphram of the fuel pump with the tester.

Take the airbox off make sure there is gas in the tank. Start it up and let it idle then take a can of carb spray. Open the throttle and when it starts to bogg down spray some carb cleaner through both carbs if the bogging quits then you have a fuel flow problem which could be a pump or restricted fuel lines or filters. I would do this before changing parts around.

allmost all kawi motors have a low end bog. ive always clutched above it, but if any one knows how to get rid of it let me know. they have the bog cuz of the position of the ports in the jugs, i believe the exhaust ports are too high in the jug.

I once read to turn up the idle screws to just below drive belt engagement and this will eliminate most of the bog.
