Wanted: 74 CCW 340 Crankcase

May I ask how you determined it was warped? Generally, die cast aluminum will crack before it would warp.

Sorry I somehow missed this - sled when I got it had an extra oily mess at this one spot on the front of the case (not from exhaust manifold) resealed engine with Yamabond (a light coat) let it cure for a week and re assembled and it kept spitting out in that same spot. Took it apart again and with a straight edge it isn't flat. At this point I don't want to put it together again only to find it not work, that's where I was hoping to find a case.

So far it's been extremely difficult to find another case - locally everyone has the older KEC 340 motor (pre 74). Haven't had any luck online etc. What I need is the KEC 340/5 case.

Ended up getting a hold of John Schavemaker on facebook and luckily he had one squirreled away. Excited to finally get the sled back together again.
