FS - 1980/81 John Deere Trailfire 440

Hi everyone,

Too many projects, too little time! Selling a 1980/81 (tunnel date 8/80) TF 440. Great sled and bones for a rebuild. 920ish miles on the ODO. Purchased locally during COVID and the previous owner had no experience with JD sleds or Kaw engines. I'm not sure the engine seals have ever been done (typically the first thing I like to assess), but I haven't checked. Engine starts and runs, needs a carb clean, etc. Sitting for 3+ years since I picked up. Track is in ok->good condition. Shocks/skis could be refreshed. Hood is in great shape, just a couple blemishes, no missing fiberglass/trim. Someone cut down the windshield at some point (looks great) and looks to have put a Liquifire"esque" seat on it. Looking for $600. Located in Medina, OH 44256. Will write a bill of sale.

Thanks Brad. It's a beautiful sled and makes a nice addition to the collection! Now all we need is some snow.
