Any gains running oil injection delete?

No - when you remove oil injection on a Liquifire, you loose crankshaft lubrication as it has lines that go to the crank bearings.

Hello everyone. I’ve been looking at posts of skis on 81 liquifire and it looks like they were mono leaf on front. Mine have been changed to multi probably should change back. What are your thoughts? Thanks Steve

Not sure what to say on this one. You are correct thinking these sleds shipped with mono leaf springs. Generally speaking most of them start to sag as time passes. I typically re-arch my springs when doing a resto. I've only ever been around sleds with mono springs so can't comment if one would be better.

The skis for 81 and up would have a narrow shock mount. Only the 80s used the shoks with the long lower bushing. Looking at the photos I think you have 80 skis.

Think this goes without saying, the tube spacer is not original.

With all of that said the plastic ski conversion is pretty popular but they are not cheap. I have just stepped into the plastic ski arena but have not had the sled on the snow. For years everyone I know that runs them only has positive things to say. I personally like the idea of having skis that don't rust and more options for wear rods.

I have seen those springs on the 76-78 sleds. Someone welded a spacer in there also to raise the front end some that should not be there. The 80-84 sleds used a single spring.

Thanks guys yes he had front lifted and track n suspension dropped same amount. Im putting it back to same level. I am adding the Plastic skis.

I had a nice set of springs of older 340 liquifire I’m going to use.
