M63450 Screw Availability

Post by Cdnturboz »

Looking to buy a bunch of the M63450 screws that hold down the cowling on mid mount sleds - anyone know of a good source that I could buy in bulk? Doesn't have to be a John Deere part , etc. I checked with a few dealers up here and they don't seem to carry them anymore.

Looks to still be a good part number down here in the lower 48.

Hmm I’ll have to try another dealer - worst case I guess next time I come to the states I’ll have to check in ND.

Looks like a plain old sheet metal screw. Do you have one that you could take to a hardware store? You will pay double for the same thing at the dealer.

I find slotted fasteners hard to find sometimes. I'm not familiar with the dimensions of that particular screw. Here's a link to a #10 x 3/4 in stainless maybe you find the one you need here? I have not purchased from these guys.

Can confirm my local John Deere dealership in northeastern Ohio is able to still get these and part number is still current as FYI.
