JDMatt, good to see your still holding down the fort.
After John's passing it made me think how active he was on this forum and how lucky we were. I wish I would have appreciated how lucky we were at the time. I got me to thinking that I'd like to do a shout out to the old timers, the GOATs of the John Deere snowmobile era that are still with us,

Greg, good to see you are still kicking!
Had to go look, my profile says I joined in July 2005, so I guess it will be 20 years next summer if I live that long. However, Matt changed providers, and I wonder if that date is actually when we began this version of the page. I kinda think I have been involved since around 2003 or so.
At any rate, lot of water has went under the bridge! And be advised, Stebner is a crank.

LOL
Good to see your doing well! Seriously, good to see you are well.
Your darn right I'm a crank!
The old site seems pretty slow from the old days.
Heard anything from that stinky bastard Tasky recently?

Jack Durand tells us he runs into Tasky at various shows in northern MN, so I guess he is still around. I haven't seen him since the Round Up in 2013.
Much of the daily traffic has migrated to a couple of JD facebook pages. I assume because everyone has their phone permanently attached to their hand.
Despite the limited traffic here, the 78 LF thread I have going on at the restoration page has seen 1.6 million hits to date and am currently getting 60 to a couple hundred hits per day. I have no explanation for this.

Stebner is still alive? Crazy.
Lindner, what kind of second rate hit man did you hire anyway to "handle" the "Stebner Situation"...
Seriously, Lindner should be arrested for impersonating a JD enthusiast, but he keeps sending me parts when I need help, and he helps guide the Vintage Challenge when I get lost in the parking lot, so we can keep him around for a bit longer.
Later Liquidator!

You're right - there was at least one forum before this one, there may have been more then one. The original provider had a failure and we lost everything on it.
Nice to hear from you Greg! All the "OGs" you shouted out are still around in the newer Facebook groups too, even Grumpy!
