79 trailfire 440 starting then dieing

I bought a 79 440 trailfire a little while ago. I had the carb rebuilt and put a new boot on as well. But now it seems like it isn’t getting gas or pulling anything. It also has a brand new pump. I can spray gas in the carb but even then it will die. When I go to pull start it it will fire a little then die.
