1983 Trailfire LX Factory Options

I just bought my first 1983 model. I always thought the LX models had electric start as an option? I guess I always assumed it was the loaded up Trailfire model. I don't have any sales literature to reference and thought this would be a great place to start.

I’m pretty sure the LX just got the oil injection and the bigger windshield. Electric start was always just an option.

Electric start was an accessory

Stan Hayes' Cross Country windshield was standard along with oil injection.

Handle Bar heaters and a Tachometer were the other options. The options were not "factory options" They were installed at the dealer. The only factory upgrades from the 80/81 Trailfires were the Cross Country windshield and Oil Injection.
