Does anyone have any tips on removing the front bumper on a pre 75 mid mount machine? On my 400 was going to replace the bumper with a better one, have removed the 8 bolts but it’s so tight I don’t think I can remove it.
Almost looks like the gas tank has to come out and the whole front steering frame?
Any help would be great

Re: Early Midmount Bumper Removal
Edit - ended up getting it, old bumper must have been tweaked so it took two people to almost bend it open to finally get it out. New one went on a bit better.

My experience matches yours. Often the chassis or bumper is tweeked.
