2026 Badger Steam and Gas Show

We had a great time at the Badger Steam and Gas Show! I hauled all my sleds home Sunday afternoon, and went back for the Gator today.

I missed getting a photo of the crew as Wade had departed Saturday night to go home to prepare for the Princeton Swap, and Randy was out and about, so I apologise for that. I was asked to organize a JD sled display for this show two years ago. The reason it turned out as well as it did is because Tom Rehberg brought out a Dator, a 78 CC, and a 340/S. Wade Bennett brought out a '84 LF, a Sportfire clone, his Dator, a 77 LF, and his 295/S. Randy Gerstner added his '75 800.

Because I was the closest, I hauled in two loads which included: my 72 400 , 74 green machine, 73 JDX8, 74 JDX8, 340/S, 78 CC clone, 76 Cyclone, and the grandson's 78 Spitfire.

With the experience of doing Classic Green a year ago in June, these guys were like a well oiled machine. Everything went smoothly, no problems with the show organizers, the public, or each other. They made it easy, and I thank them for their support!

The grandson enjoyed showing and chatting with people about his Spitfire, he very much seemed to enjoy the experience. Thanks to all who attended and stopped by to chat!
