400 parts needed

Post by kevcboy »

I need a woodruff key for my '73 400. Its got a 30mm crank. I also need some good suspension springs as several of mine are broken. I also need a clutch for the motor. And could someone tell where to get some points? thanks

You should be able to get points from DK or Central.
You'll need to know your engine model.

I would think any good auto, sled, or motorcycle store could set you up with the key.

As for the clutch, you need a Salsbury. Watch ebay, and/or post your needs in the classifieds here.

Talk to Steve41279. In the post above this one, he mentions picking up a '73 400 parts sled.

Yeah, what Rich said.

If you want to run the secondary that is on the machine, you need to stay with the correct clutch. ( this is what I have been told anyway )

Just putting a Salsbury clutch on the engine would be the least amount of work as well.
I'm asuming that the rest of the drive line is OK.

Do you know why is the clutch missing ?

Most people don't have the tool to get them off.
