heat exhanger removal

i know it was talked about last winter but i forgot. what needs to be done to remove the heat exchanger in my 80 liquifire. from what i remember its fairly simple to do, but i just cant picture how its done anymore.

Its not that easy, you have to remove the track,susp.,seat and tank and drill out all the rivits to remove it.Ed

Ed it dead on, it's a real pain to get out. But, if you trashed it, or are looking for wieght savings, it's your call.

yeah i really need to take it out to lose the weight. and for what it is used for, i dont need it. its just dead weight. thanks for your help guys!
