Wow! no posts here since April 27th. Snow is long gone! No other hobbies? Anyone? Man I'm bored, I need a beer!

Dave,

Don't get on the computer much this time of year, too many projects. Also trying to spend as much time at the cabin as possible. No computer and no phone...cell phones don't even work...it's a wonderful thing!

Did manage to get this Polaris rebuilt and painted before summer.

Good point .....I finally made it far enough through the wife's to do list to play with with a walk behind tractor I aquired a couple of years ago. I know that many of you guys are used to the real farm tractors , but here in the suburbs of boston there isn't many people with one of these . As you see I have the snow blower attachment , which is a single stage and is pretty frightening when running at speed. I also have a plow blade which i use for meessing aroung with the mulch pit. Does anyone knwo what one of these is worth ? I beleive it to be from the late sixties or early seventies .

My sons decided it needed a name , they call it Thor , the wonder tractor.

Hope everyone is having a good off season so far ...

Glad you guys have something to do besides playing with sleds. 75rat nice paint! Did you do it yourself? Kevin your thor machine looks sort of like my Ariens snowblower from 1977. I have another resto to do. It's a 1980 Trailfire 440 and it was free.

Thor is made by simplicity , it's got an 8 hp briggs on it .
I believe it to be from the late sixties because there is no recoil , you have to wrap a rope around and pull to get it started . After a good cleaning of the points a fuel system cleaning it will start after a couple of pulls.

75 rat...great job and love the flames on the polaris ...

Wow no recoil talk about dangerous. Simplicity is supposed to be pretty good i know people that swear buy them. Good thing is that Briggs is still around and it should be easy to find parts for it. BOB

I spent a lot of time mowing behind a David Bradley (Sears) but didn't have a sulky so that kind of stunk. It was great for mowing fence rows back when we had fence rows to seperate fields. Thanks for the memories. Don
