Three sleds that have been in the barn since I was a kid need to go. They have been picked at by some of my dads buddies... so if its parts you need you will find them in Indiana, in a barn. Here's the scoop. We will start with the liquifire. I believe it is a 82. It's dark in the barn and the plate is tough to see. My dad bought this sled with the idea of doing a transplant surgery on it. The sled was motorless but the body was in excelent shape. At the time we also owned a 1979 liquifire with kioritez? My spelling kinda sucks.. The motor ran awesome and it only had 939 miles on it.. Anyways we sucessfully made the transplant. The surgery went well. You could take it down the road doing fifty, pin the throttle and the track would still break loose. Lots of power and compression, but the weight of those motors was rediculous. They were desighned for a much, much larger sled. The sled ran realy well, but it all the sudden lost spark. I believe it might be the points? If that is the case the motor to my knowledge will have to come back out. redesighned smaller body made the engine fit tight. It was well enginered and put together well. All the coolant lines and every thing ignition wise was compatable. I'm realy kinda proud of our creation. The sled is still mostly in one piece lacking a carb that is still with the sled. Again guys these are recomended for parts.. Recomended they be used for parts but the trail fire and this one still have potential. Secondly is a sportfire. It burn't a piston and locked up. The block is in pieces, but the body is complete. Third up is the Trailfire LX. Who knows what is wrong with it! Compresion problems? The damn thing would try to run, but never actualy keep running. The sled and the motor are all complete on this one, and the milage is pretty low as well. They are all 440's. I am through with them. The parts I need to fix them are out of my reach hear in Indiana. Thanks, let me know. They are at my fathers and he wants them gone so make me an offer! Take three and make one? I will post some picks tomorrow evening. We got a real load of snow dumped on us last night and I don't have access to them at this time. Jeremiah_102508@hotmail.com
