Jd295/s tracks

Post by speedy295 »

So i finally dug my 295 out of the garage. I noticed that it has a 2/3 cleated track, and j/d logo's all over it. Is this a factory replacement track, or the original. I was always under the assumption that they had full width cleated tracks.

also i noticed that my deere sevice text says that the type code should be: JD295/SC, but mine says: JDSOC. Is the book wrong or my snowmobile?

The book is wrong, when they came out they had the full width cleat that was molded into the rubber "no rivets" they were JUNK!!!! the factory replacement track had the 2/3 cleated track and they were a good track. Mark.

Mine still has the original full width cleat track, only because some previous owners riveted the heck out of it.
