Wadeo108 has them right out of the Aaen tunning book maybe he'll post them to the FAQ section so there in there.

it won't let me post in the FAQ section so here are the AAEN specs.
main jet 360
pilot jet 35
needle 6DH3
needle jet Q2
slide 2.5
air jet none
this is for there pipes with cut heads and porting and no air box. but it should get you started with out having to worry about burning it down.
if you want a copy of the specs email me and i can send you a copy.

In the ball Park & on the rich side of it, you have to start someplace & where better than on the rich side???

Matt, can you get the specs into the FAQ section??

I was using 350 mains in the invader i did last year and it was still a tad rich so i would say 340 would work better. I did have the shaved head it was ported but not as extreme as Aaen does them and had Aaen pipes. I had EGT's on it too which showed it running just over 1000

thanks everyone for the input on this subject i only had a few minute to mess with the sled last night i put 260 main 35 pilot with 2.5 slides i dont have the proper needle yet i just tried this stuff and it worked great so far not perfect yet but it is running and starting much better than it ever did yet. the sled is pure stock. after i get it running perfect i will post my specs on here. if you dont run an airbox do you use seperate air filters on the engine or no? this is my first lf my other 80 lf i will be doing some slight engine mods. does anyone have a set of pipes that are used i might be able to buy a little cheaper than what aaen wants for them? just wondering! thanks so much for the help so far.

I believe 260 main jets are going to be way to lean for top end & will do engine damage.
Better to spend the money on main jets than to spend it on Pistons & Cylinders. Good advice is to start rich & end where you have a med brown color at the ball joint on the Y pipe. Used pipes are going for almost as much as new & most of the time used are listed as Invader or Liquifire pipes so you really don't know what you are buying.

the tech manual don't list specs for 38mm carbs. some people don't mind the extra tinkering you need to do to keep the 36mm power jet carbs clean. i couldn't stand it. they were the first thing i would throw away. you can also pick up a couple of hp with the 38s.

ok i tried all the specs givin here and in the faq section needles needle jets mains slides and pilot jets. the sled didnt want to run properly. it would start hard and wouldnt idle if i put half choke on it would start fine then i would take it off. riding the sled it was kinda dead at low rpm it would move then after it got goin for a few seconds it would take off like a rocket.(well for one of these sleds anyway). i tried different mains still the same. i changed the pilot from a 35 to a 40 and the starting problem got better. this is a stock sled nothing done to it at all. the original needles and needle jets that came with the carbs are alot different. the needle itslef is much skinnier all the way through. i dont have exact numbers but i will put them on here soon. i put them in with a 30 pilot 2.5 slide 260 main and it will idle good and seems to run pretty good ran out of time to play with this combo but when i get some more time im gonna try different mains and pilots. with this combo it starts great and idles good real nice. please give me anysugestions possible for the recomended setup.

If it works better with the 40 pilots go that way. are you running with the air box on or off??
What mains did you start with? & what mains did you try next?
I still think the 260's are way too lean but hey it's your sled.

when we were racing 440's in the mid 90's which was when all brands were running 38mm carbs and rpms were between 8000 to 8500 the smallest main jets that anyone i knew was running 310's and this was lean. most guys were running 320 to 330 if this helps at all.
