Top of the day gents..
I'm just about to rebuild a few Walbros and I'm curious what you gentlemen like to use as a cleaner/solvent. ???
I usually use some Gunk degreaser in an old ultra sonic denture cleaner machine. Then a good blast of compressed air.. Seems to do a good job but I would be curious if there is a better product. Whats best for the white metal corrosion..???
Thanks and Cheers

Carb Cleaning Question
i usually sandblast my walbros and clean them good with carb cleaner though it gets cold when its 10 degrees outside and you spray carb clean on your fingers.

Carb Cleaning Question
If a total rebuild is in the picture, MEK (Methylethylketone) in that ultrasonic cleaner will work the best. Do not get this stuff in contact w/ anything you don't want disolved. Will eat any type of rubber and removes paint (with hardener).
But if you have access to a blaster, Ryans idea would work great also. Probably better seeings how it sounds like there probably is some exfoliating corrosion going on also.
