handwarmers

Post by sporty440 »

Ive got an nos handwarmer kit for my sporty. My question is that the power source is the aux connector but ive already used that for my electric start.. can I splice into the aux connector to install my handwarmers? Will that lead have enough power to handle the load? Should I not install them? (my hands never get cold riding this beauty)

handwarmers

It won't hurt to use the aux power lead for supplying the handwarmers. As for the handwarmers, I perfer using the Hotgrips version. There is a low and high temp on them, plus they aren't heating the whole metal handle bar through, before heating your hands, making them more efficient and faster to get warm. I usually use the handwarmers and don't wear gloves or mittens. So, to each his own.
