Last week i got a jdx8 75 model running and took it for a ride for the first time..first time ever riding a older deere like this. Boy are these sleds tippy!! I was riding in our bean field that had about 8 inches on the ground. When you turn you really i mean really have to lean so the outside ski doesnt sink in the snow and tip over the sled. I am use to riding newer sleds which handle awsome. The sled has decent power though. It is for sale..look in the classifieds.

You think a deere is tippy you should try an old ski doo or some of the other brands deere are certainly 1 of the better handling sleds of the era.

i tipped my 400 on its side in my school parking lot, i was trying to turn at about 10 mph. the first time my brother ever drove a sled i rode with him and he tipped my x6 on my leg. I got lucky the other day though, i was joyriding in the parking lot again and had to make a left turn, swung the spitfire around 270 degrees and the skis didn't even lift off of the ground.
