as a kid growing up the man who introduced me to his deere sleds also had a deere gator. i drove it all the time and just loved it. now im thinking about getting one of my own. rig it up with signal lights and all and use it to get from point A to point B. i want a 6x4 gas or desial. dont matter. i would like an mid 90s gator because that is what the one i used to drive is. so if any body spots one or has one for a good deal let me no!

At my shop that is what we use on construction sites. We are now converting over to the newer Big D's 4x4's. They run better than the gas ones and the plastic dosnt bust up after a couple of years also the seats are better they dont crack up after the first cold snap and you jump on to it. A good spot to pick them up from is united rentals or RSC and any rental company. Try it to make sure you like it and then buy it from them. They come all serviced up and if somethings broke it is fixed if not tell them to get ya another one or fix it. Then at least you know what your getting with those units. They do get abused other wise I would sell you one of ours. We have the JD green ones and the darker green trail gators.

As a township trustee, I've purchased two 4x2's to take care of ball diamonds. They've been very dependable. I've had access to a Polaris Ranger as well and will tell you that the windshield will break if you hit the far side of a draw hard, at full speed, while chasing buffalo.
