Paul,

We got a light dusting again! If this continues I will have to work out a trade with KWC for a go cart. At least I'd be able to ride a Deere during the winter. The weather patterns just aren't cooperating this winter for us. It's been cold enough but no precipitation. As soon as it warms up to about 35 or 36 we get rain. There is another chance late in the week for us. Then they are calling for rain on Saturday and Sunday. High in the low 50's next week.

Even the guys from Illinois cant find Standard, Illinois. Imagine how the post master feels..

Standard is located about 6 miles south of I-80. About 6 miles West of I-39. About 7 miles East of I-180.

I didnt get the sled off the trailer today. Snow is spotty and wind blown. We got about 3 inches total and I frankly didnt feel like getting it out. Recently bought a new helmet which was taken back and exchanged for a larger size today...So off to work we go.

More snow is on its way here in IL. Not sure if we will get enough to take the sled out though. Have to wait and see.

Snowed all day on Monday, and much of the night.
Around 8 inches of fluff.

Too busy farming and wrenching to ride

Weve had daytime highs in the 20s for a week almost and no precipitation wweek before highs temps and lotsa rain theres only like 3 inchs on the ground in the higher elevations where I ride. Just another crap winter. Spoke to my aunt in New Hampshire last week she had to have a front end loader move the snow back along her driveway to make room for more of it. Guess where I wanna move.

We got about 5-6 inches here in Freeport Illinois.. really soft fluffy snow. I took the Cyclone out last night for a little 30 mile ride down the trail. I had a friend come over today, and we took the Cyclone and the JDX out.. only made it one mile before the Cyclone ran out of gas and the JDX fouled a plug. Oh well.
