honda 300

hey im looking to buy a honda 300 atv, its was put together from 3 machines and has no title, im in iowa if that matters, what do i get to have the seller do so i can get a title,

can you just apply for a new title- how much??
is a bill of sale good enough??

Just be wary I knew a kid that had one of those and it was stolen. The police came and took it back. I would wash my hands of it. BOB

First of all, who registers ATV's in Iowa? Bureau of Motor Vehicles? or DNR? Whichever, that's where you want to ask these questions. I could answer from the Indiana standpoint and be totally wrong in Iowa. Go or call your BMV. Don
