Going for a Deere ride this weekend!!!

We are taking my 1974 JDX-6 up to the ST. Lawrence river for the weekend. My boss, his brother, and myself are all going. It should be a great time. I pulled the JD into the shop tonight and checked everything over and changed the chain case oil. He rode it from my house to his shop (about a mile) while I followed in the truck. He was going 25mph and it didn't break down!!! I was impressed. The belt is shot so we have to pick one up on the way into the cottage in the morning. Well, hopefully I won't have to be towed by a Polaris ATV! Have a good weekend all. I will update you guys with some pics if we have a wireless signal up there. Later, Forrest.
