Both are still there, sport is 4603184501 ans sign is 7210192485. Speaking of ebay, it would be nice if we could compile a list of peoples ebay names as well to know if we're bidding against one of our own, just probably not on these items. Anyone want to place bet of if it gets a bid or not?

Outside of sled is nice but the engine isnt clean enough for me. As is, if I had it, I might consider a 1000 on the top end. The sign, very high end I'd go 500, but I'd have to pull the lottery to feel comfortable about it.

I've also priced myself out of ebay as well, but if you are persistant enough someone usually buys it.

Hey Guys,

I have never sold any NOS parts on Evil-Bay, but I have bought plenty, especially from KD-Trader. I just don't want my hobbie to become a business, although I have pondered selling off some of excess parts. (I am pretty sure I am never going to use some of the parts I have hundreds off). I would rather trade for things I need when possible.

That said, I use a very clever, sophistacated and original Evil-Bay log on: "joerainville" I try not to bid again anyone I know, but it is an auction site after all.

Have fun,

Greenxcracer76...If we didn't bid against anyone else it would be first come first served and what fun would that be?? Like Rainville said, it is an auction. Mike

First come first serve is nice sometimes: I enjoy Dk traders buy it now stuff, just got 22 25mm oils seals for $17, they weren't even on there for an hour. Put better it would be nice to know who from the site is giving you trouble, such as the horicon-greenracer war. Also decalguy, i have seen that teapot name somewhere, don't recall if i won the item but i do remember the name. Anyone know of deer05, i just won a cyclone 440 instead of him, it doesn't seem many people on this site are that close to me in northern michigan which seems to help in sled purchase due to reduced competition.

In the overall JD collecting world, the sign is not priced that unreasonably.
The days of the $300 signs are long gone unless you get lucky. If you do, congratulations.

I personally wouldn't take $1500 for our sign. It was ours originally and we never installed it, just put it away in the warehouse

Other JD signs, being more vintage of course, have gone over $6000 so it's a matter of the venue and the crowd, just like any auction

My .02 worth

Horicon and I are not having a war...we are good friends and use this forum as a chance to give each other **** once in a while....I'm sure he's over it already...or he could be planning my demise....time will tell. Mike
