The chat room has finally been invaded by porn seekers. I'm sure there is nothing you can do to clean it up. It was good while it lasted.

Looks like it is the guys from the bull session over at Vintagesleds.com. Looks like they want to take our board down to the same level as theirs. Next they will be posting a bunch of meaningless posts. Like whats your favorite color or u might be a "REDNECK" if........

I was on there for a quit a while & I thought is was fairly mellow, well it could have been worse anyway, at least I didn't take it as they were ripping us, & Docjim was keeping them in line, I saw him do that to a couple of them, more than once
Maybe they read some of the posts on here & though what the hey????:blink:

It looks like they're using our chat room because they don't have one. They were using the one at www.acscc.com and apparently it isn't working. I don't have a problem with it unless they get out of hand.

First off I want to apologize to any on here that may have been offended by what went on in the chat room. I have no control over this chat so I could do nothing. There was many using other user names as the program allows this. I was not able to login 2 days ago as Docjim because someone was already using it. There are no filters so anything can be said and cant be erased.

I can also tell you that the guys that were in there were kidding and having some fun. No one was being a nusance for anything other than levity. If you popped in there and didnt know that it would have been very offensive and I can understand how you would feel.

Again I apologize and hope this does not affect any relations between JDsleds.com and vintagesleds.com. Docjim

A while ago someone on the site was banned because of in appropriate behavior. WHen we banned him it somehow also banned a few members from AOL. We thought we had it resolved. I guess it wasnt. You are not banned and are a very welcome member. I have once again gone through the ban triggers and hopefully have this rectified. If you try again and cannot get on notify me here at:

I was notified from someone on JDsleds.com that you are still unable to get into the vintagesleds.com Bull Sessions, that you are still getting the "you are banned from using this forum" message. I am very sorry to hear that you are still having trouble. This was an issue for AOL users that has been resolved, so in your case, there must still be something causing the error that we need to troubleshoot. I can assure you you have NOT been banned. Here's what I would like you to try.

1. Dump your cookies and cache. If you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser, go to Tools ->Internet Options -> under the General tab, select the button to delete your cookies, browsing history and cache. Hit "Apply" and okay. Close the window, see if you can get on vintagesleds.com.

2. If that did not work, please send me an email, and we will delete your account. Once that's done, sign up again, if it lets you.

3. If that does not work, download Firefox (firefox.com) and access the website with that browser.

I have been on that chat a couple times. Even times when I had no computer in my sight I was told my name was on there. It sucks as chat rooms for old sleds and for people to communicate are fun, and some people do ruin them.

Such as last night I logged on to talk, there was about 5 people on there. One of them was Docjim, however it was not the read Doc.....it was someone else. Then all of a sudden another one of my names popped up on there as another TXman.

Then my buddies girlfriends name was on there, and I know she does not go to the vintage sites often, let alone the chat rooms. So someone was using her name as I talked to my buddy and his girlfriend has been sick and had no clue about the chat site.

So people are going under different names and going bonkers on there......it is sad to see but it does happen. I am not a perfect angel and do like to have fun, but I sure as heck won't go under an assumed name nor do anything to get a chat banned or make anther site look bad.

A friendly and reasonable member from VS, Cruelpaul, has created his own chat room for the members there, so we shouldn't have an issue.
