Still looking for o-rings for my 81 LF. No longer available through JD.
My local JD dealer also sells Yamaha, but couldn't find a part number
for their o-rings either. Any one have a part number from anyone
who may have these o-rings.
Thanks for the help
Todd

Power jet carb o-rings
Hi new to site. Just bought some from my Yamaha dealer. Part #214-14147-00 under that in small print Y070528A
Power jet carb o-rings
I don't know if this is bad advise because I dont have much experience with the power jets but I had to get some for my pair and I didnt know they were special o rings until reading on this site. But I just went to ace hardware and picked up the closest ones I could find and my sled ran top notch all winter. I have yet to go in to the carbs and see how they are holding up but they have made it one year. does anyone know the potential problems I could have by not using the jd part or equivilant.

The main thing to look out for is the material of the o-rings. Some o-rings are not made to stand up to gasoline and oil...they will deteriorate quickly.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that if the wrong o-rings are
used that fuel can be pulled into the carberator past the o-ring and the
bowl causing the engine to flood. That's what I think my problem is now
after putting on 1/16 thick o-ring. I've checked the needle and seat and
fuel is being stopped at this point, but the engine still floods.
Any help would be much appreciated
