Hi Guys,

There is going be a vintage show in Alexander next weekend, Saturday May 10th. The original "Black Widows" will be featured guest along with several champion racers from Boonville back in the day.

Hope to see a good showing of Deere sleds there...

Lx,

That is Aaron's poodle, I have a rabid PittBull I bring along to protect my tach stash! I will bring one, since I've owed it to you for something like 2 years now. Thanks for the reminder, and see you there.

AWZ, Cari Deerest is coming, so of course there will be food. Sorry, no Chinese buffet for you though. They are also selling burgers and hots there too. See you guys Saturday...

Hey guys,

It appears that I can make an appearance at the show, at least for the morning. Aaron, for Pete's sake leave the thong and the poodle at home this time. Joe, please leave the leg killing CC at home, or at least don't make another attempt at showing off your dismal mechanic skills by attempting to start any of your sleds!

I wish there were a few shows around my area. It would be quite the drive from IL....maybe if gas was still $.89/gal I would think about it...

:D

:D

I'll have to keep an eye out for some shows around IL.

WatersBoy,

Play nice or we are going to BBQ you for Aaron's lunch. You are still wining about that sprocket half taking a bite out of your leg? Wasn't that something like 3 years ago? Build a bridge dude, and get over it, LOL!

Please note that was the original white sprocket BEFORE I worked on the sled. Or, more accurately, made you and Matt rebuilt it for at midnight before the HOF ride. There is still one original sprocket in the center position. And I hear it's hungry for some Waters legchops...

Remember my vintage oval racing debute was on your selfdistructing LF? You can blame the 621 factor all you want, as I am sure my very presence made all the studds fall out and the throttle cable brake too

:P

See you clowns there for more fun and exitement. Cari will bring food for Aaron, and I have some rusty crankshafts to sell to Kenny. I hear he will buy anything if you tell him it's for a 340/s!

Later Liquidator,
-Rainville

PS: Kenny, Bruce is rumored to bringing that nice 83 Trailfire again. We need Aaron to distract him while we "aquire" it...

Well,

The show was a hit as usual. There was a large showing for the Deere herd. Joe and I still didn't acquire a very nice Trailfire held hostage by a Polaris collector. Aaron brought two very nice JD's, and Joe had his 340S there as well. I got to meet Greg AKA Toymech and his black beauty and his original Trailfire. Forrest had his Make a Wish Foundation hood there which is awesome to see in person, along with the Massey donated by Docjim and delivered by Joe Rainville.

Hey Guys,

Cari and I had a great time at the Alexander show. She even found a part time job modeling AMF sleds for my buddie Mark Elwell. I ended up getting tackeled by some of my missguided NY posse who think I am still 18 instead of 38. Darn kids are strong...

Greg Shab-blah-blah or something like that brough down two really nice Deere's from Canada and grabbed a trophie with his sweet 81 Trailfire 440. Now the the "International Trailfire Terrorist" is also embezeling show trophies accross the boarder. The authorites will be notified.

Aaron Zeolie, the JDSLEDS.COM eastern mascot brough and trophied with his very shiny 83 Sprintfire and Liquidator. Tim and Nick where there with Nick's Cats on display. Todd Stymie had a nice display of Deere sleds with him, including a bogie-sled 295/s his Uncle bought new. Of course the Watersboy was there for most of the day hanging with the crew.

There were many other Deere sleds on display too and for sale, including a 78 Cyclone and Spitfire, along with a few JDX's and 100 series sleds.

And to the surpise of the guys, I actually had a sled with me that ran besides Cari's Sprintfire or my 78 CC. Here is a pic of Forest Hess sitting on my 340/s with Kudla in the background. It was good to see Forest and his Dad Rob enjoying the show and displaying this Liquifire hood and Massey sled.

Later Liquidator...
