Well Dave-

The old gal made her way out of the barn and onto to the trailer very unwillingly. After pulling my guts out she fired up and then smoked like hell and died, plugs were fouled, fuel seeping out of the exhaust union like I struck oil in Texas. So she had to be drug out of the barn and manually lifted on the trailer. Now I am licking my blisters on my left hand. So, she took a 35 minute ride to the house, put some good plugs in it and she runs again, not willingly, I had to curse at her a bit, probably because it was 80+ degrees here with 95% humidity. So you want some pics...tomorrow I will post some pics. This will be before the tear down and I will progress through this as this snow balls.. :letitsnow:

This will be a complete chassis tear down, the old girl will be sporting some new paint and hopefully decals as the money tree is limited after this past summers expenses. The engine is good, just gotta pull down the carbs and clean them and re-clean the gas tank, clutches will be rebuilt by a forum member also....stay tuned!!

Now where did I put that bumper sticker for my L-fire..you know that one I am going to put on the snow flap that says..second place is the first loser!!

Paul,

I would love to comment regarding the "Game on challenge", however after my very sub-par performance last year at the HOF I'm going to bite my bottom lip and just let the blood trickle down my chin. :lol22:

You've got some work ahead to catch up with me. Mine is scattered all over the garage. If it weren't for the track and skis lying against the wall I doubt you would even know what I was working on. My fear is February will get here too fast!

She is stripped to the gills, ready for the carwash and off to paint! Sorry no pics today guys, I will get one before it goes in for paint. I know we all love pics. What a mess.. :lol22:
