Liquidator resurection

Post by _FIII »

The first of the two sleds will be a complete tear down and full mechanical rebuild leaving it in original appearance. Once completed the goal is to get pictures of the original owner on the sled. Reuniting racer and machine from the Regina-Minot race.

I will be posting pics of the progress as it happens..........enjoy!

Richard,

In the first picture looks like you stuffed the crack in backwards. Gotta watch those brown bottles.

Only slowed us down by about 15-20 minutes, so it wasn't that bad.

Hey Richard......it's great to see it coming together. I can't wait to see it at our vintage derby. Of course, if you have any left over parts, you are more than welcome to bring them along and drop them off at my place. We'll have a brand new halfway house at next winters ride. I spent the last week and a half building forms and pouring a pad.......even have in floor heating, so you can relax inside while Im outside in the cold taking some pieces that I need off of your Dator

Can't wait to see your new groomer when we come up for the ride. Probably gonna come up for the whole weekend this year. I might have to buy an alarm for my sled so I can keep tabs on you!

This liquidator is the easy one. Everything is free and moving. The twin to this one(which was raced) is rough and all seized up from sitting outside.
