And a couple more. She handles better at 80mph than the GTP does. 30 years old and original and it still corners on a rail. The 3 speed auto wicks up pretty fast.

GTP... of course it is going to... GTP is a grocery getter! I used to have a 99 GTP that I had modded and drag raced. That is one hot looking vette! Here are a couple vids of my GTP youd prolly like...

I'm sad to report that the GTP will absolutely kill it in a drag race. Corvette: 200hp, GTP: a tick under 300hp, built top end, 18lb supercharger, trasmission shift kit and reprogrammed trans. computer. The Grand Prix will leave the Corvette standing still. And...I'm jealous of you'rs. I leave smoke a lot of ricers in mine, but yours is just sick.

I didnt even have all that much done to it. I had intake, 3'' DP, cat delete, res delete, flowmaster 40s, ported and wrapped exhaust manifolds, 3.5'' SC Pulley, ZZP PCM.. and I think thats about it.. and thats on a stock motor, stock blower, and no intercooler.. about 12 pound of boost. Even though your GTP is faster I bet anything you can still pick up more ladies with the vette' ;-)

It's a dream to drive. The buckets hug you like an old stuffed chair. It's got a kickass sound system. It's got that old school cockpit feel to it. I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 late 70's corvettes this summer, and I saw 4 of them in the 1 mile trip from the photoshoot to the DMV. There's no better feeling than hitting a long stretch of highway with 6 feet of hood stretched out in front of you and then out of the blue you crank the stereo and "Born To Run" comes on. I think after Durand Motorsports closes on Saturday a long cruise is in order. It's already caught the eye of a few chicks and I've owned it for about 7 hours now. I'll be picking up the cover at 7:30 on my way to work, and I'll spend some time detailing then at 6:00PM sharp she's going home. Tonight she sleeps at the shop next to the Liquifire.
~Jack
P.S. Chuck, when she hits the cities, we're going cruisin' for drunk chicks.

Jack, it's beautiful. I might have one 1979 Corvette brouchure left. I'll look and if I do, it's yours. Don
