79 Trailfire tach and carb tuning

Post by Rayzors79TF »

My trail fire does not have a tach. I would like to do some fine tuning on the carb after I get done with the re seal and I think I will need one. Any idea were to sorce one up or is there a way to hook up a digital voltage meter to read rpms. Thanks for any help.

Does your T-fire have a speedo?
If it does not and has the short original dash you will need a tall dash to mount the tach. Unless you used a universal gauge pod.

There is a seller with NOS Tachs on ebay right now. I think they were $13 plus shipping. Rich may still have some also.
