295s Engine parts

Post by mgabl072 »

Recently acquired a 295s. Looking to do some serious TLC before I fire it up. Found a couple head gaskets from JDSleds. I would like to fine a couple of pistons. I know hard to come by but at least I have to ask. Any carbs floating around out there? Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure where one would find pistons. I would like to know also.

;) AS for carbs, Goodluck the 295 carbs are kinbda unique to the 295 but where very similiar to 340/s carbs. Personally I would try 76-78 LF carbs I bet they would work fine. If originals could not be located. wish I could help more.

Please help a novice mechanic. How do you tell a 295s cylinder versus a 340/s cylinder?
