What do you do with the sleds that are to good to part out just because the track is bad? I often think about putting wheels under them and riding around in the summer. Any thoughts, suggestions, opinions on this? Waste of time or not? Yup,you guessed it,I'm a newbie to this site.

I actually went and looked a wheeled sled Sunday just 4 miles away.
It was a 1970 Skidoo Nordic 640 chassis on a four wheel chassis with golfcart tires.
Live rear axle, chain driven off of the trackdrive sprocket and independent front springs, shocks and A-arms.
The wheels were about 5 feet wide. Engine was in pieces and rusted solid in the pan. Steering broken, seat shot, dash and hood broke.
I left it in the trees where I found it as he was asking $200 firm.

I've got a copy of the wheel kit that came with the Doo's.Really elabarate.Had a special frame that bolted in where the bogie assemblies went.Had hydraulic front wheel brakes, special steering arms, chain drive off of front drive sprocket, looked great. 2 wheels in front, one big one in the tunnel. I need to see some simple ideas that work. Thanks.
