Can anyone ell me if there is an intank fuel filter on 1980 Liquifires? If so, can these be cleaned or are replacements available? Or can it be removed and just run an inline filter?

In tank filter
I believe they used a screen filter with a check valve in it. yes you can clean them, or just go ahead and replace them as they only run a couple bucks.
