Sportfires

Post by ChickenRat »

After spending a day busting powder with my newly worked over Sportfire(still needs a couple things, clutch hole cover to start), I thought it would be neat to get a few pics of my current running Sportfire collection. I have one more '84 Sportfire but it needs a really good workover before it comes back to life. A project for next summer.

Enjoy,

Robb

Nice collection, I have just recently gotten into the vintage Deere sleds after riding my Dad's as a kid I can only hope to have a collection like yours someday. They all look nice and I love to see people are out riding them, I hope to have at least one of mine operational soon, but all need plenty of work, anyways great pics and thanks for sharing. Travis

Rob, What about gorgeous, naked woman, on the sportfires. If that turned up in my yard I would not complain.

Frankie,

I'm up north for two weeks and there is plenty of snow for riding. Way above average snow conditions for this time of year. They are in a pattern here where about every 3 days they are getting 3-6" of snow. Got about 10" yesterday. More expected on Tuesday. I put the three Sportfires back in storage and will continue to keep tweeking my rider '84 until I'm totally happy with it. Supposed to be -30 tonight so no riding tonight. Thanks for the compliments, I work very hard to get my sleds and keep them up to snuff. I don't think I can find any naked women to pose on these sleds at these temperatures but I'm certainly willing to try and inspect the goods personally!

Robb,

You're gonna need a bigger trailer to get all those to Waconia!

Of course if you want to start stockpiling them closer (only 16 miles to the show) you can start bringing them to my heated garage for 'safe' keeping...
