Liquifire clutch spring ?

Hey Guys ,
I have a 1980 Liquifire , 123,087 serial number .

Question is did these come with the purple clutch spring already on them from the factory ? Cannot tell mine has all the paint worn off.

Been reading up on the purple spring and a post about a Polaris blue spring , any thoughts ?

The 80 LF originally came with a silver spring, but Deere recomended the purple one to help with off the line performance issues.

Based on my experiances with my own 80 LF, a fresh purple spring is an improvement over the silver one. Especially a 29 year old silver spring.
