Air bubbles in fuel line

Post by JDDDeere »

When idling/adjusting my Sprint, I notice that the gas mixture being delivered to the carb contained significant amount of air (at least at idle). When running it is never "starved" for gas that I know about, but wondering if that is common (that the gas is pumped to the carb along with a lot of air???)

Thank.

Air bubbles in fuel line

Sometimes if you don't have clamps on the lines there is some air.. Are you sure it's air & not water bubbles? if it is air & the lines are tight the more you run it they should work themselves out, but you most always have one just above the carb where the fuel line makes the bend into the carb..
