What I don't understand is why would anyone out bid everyone else on a possible historic sled, pay to get it shipped, own it for about 2 months & then have to sell it?? This is happening more & more on these Deere Race sleds, Too bad you don't live in the USA maybe you could ask for a bailout from congress..
Oh yea, Yes I was one the of the people who got out bid..
Don't get me wrong, I do hope you can sell them & this time to someone who recognizes them for what they are & keeps & enjoys them for future generations to view...

Do Anti-War Protesters have reunions? If so what do they TALK about?

Kenny... Shoot him the same offer as your bid. You just never know. You can even bring it over here to hide from the Mrs.

Hi Jamie,
Sorry to hear things haven't been going the best. Speaking for myself, I would like again to make another more than fair offer on the cover but I am hesitant this time. I don't know if the sleds are for sale or if you are shopping them around. I ask this since I see no asking price. Usually a listed asking price demonstrates serious intent to sell, but I suppose I do understand why one wouldn't be listed too.
I know your two dators were for sale not so long ago and I was really happy when you decided to keep one. I think maybe people are wondering what your intent is with this dator and 340/s. At least I am. So I am just going to ask outright, what is your selling price on these sleds? And is the cover for sale for the right price? I hope things work out for you.
Take Care,
Craig

Jamie, sorry to hear you have to sell. Why dont you sell one of those firecats I see in the side of the one pic? You could get as much out of one of those sleds as you might get from both Deeres... The deere's are less replacable, if at all.

Sorry to hear you have to part with your sleds due to a job issue. I have had to sell some things before due to economic difficulty myself. Everything worked out for me and hope it does for you also. I gotta love the people who want to know "WHAT YOUR INTENT WITH THE SLEDS WAS" Like your trying to get rid of an adopted Child or something. They are just SNOWMOBILES---Whatever is going on in someone's personal life is much more important than a hunk of steel and rubber. I mean I like my sleds don't get me wrong , but if they have to go to help out my family in some way then that is what would happen---things like TOYS can always be replaced later.. I do like the HIGH BID X1000 thing though.

Ruppster, Maybe your handle has nothing to do with Rupps, but I'm wondering if you would be saying the same thing if these 2 sleds were Rupp Sno-Pro sleds or the "The Kalamazoo Engineering Rupp Magnums of Sammy Sessions"ruppster wrote:"WHAT YOUR INTENT WITH THE SLEDS WAS" Like your trying to get rid of an adopted Child or something. I see by your profile here your a fairly new member here, I might suggest you sit back & learn about the history of Deere Race Sleds before you insert your foot to deeply...
As for what is going on in ones personal life right now probably was also going on 2 months ago.. I would say that the motto of "IF You Can't Pay Don't Play" Really has come to light on this board in more than one instance over the last years. The Vintage Deere Race Sleds are getting expensive, It's a hobby, maybe people need to look at there financial situation before they go on ebay & the bidding gets out of hand.. as for the " my last bid X1000" you really don't know maybe I only bid $1.00, That would make that 340/s pretty reasonable @ a grand... This isn't the first time someone has a very high Dollar sled to sell & I'm sure it won't be the last
I'm done
Ken
