WTF is wrong with people??

Perhaps they should be run down and driven over. Unfortunately, I think this is a reflection of the lack of respect that many have in todays society. Parents are raising their children to think that they make the rules as individuals, not as a group or as part of society.

I live within 20 miles of there and I always ride Waupaca trails. I cant beleive they didnt shut down the whole county. Around here and probably everywhere else cant wait til there caught. Someone has got to know who did this. I think the reward is up to $14,000 and growing.

This is an almost unbelievable story--If I was the property owner I would also shut down that trail. Unfortunately the shutting down of trails is happening more and more in MI and WI. Way to many guys running loud sleds and going off trails right next to signs where a property owner places a sign that says please stay on trails. I think a small percentage of us are going to ruin it for the rest of us. Also the speeding on the trails is again crazy and needless--The weekend warriors who think they are out there in a cross country race are again hurting everyone. Let's hope the snowmobile community wakes up before we are forced to use our sleds on private property only. Don't think it could happen !!! think again. Just do a little research on what is happening to use of public land for such things as off road vehicles. That fight could soon come to us--Just like it did in Yellowstone. Be Safe --ride Smart and obey the laws and property owners wishes and we will probably be ok. Run over wildlife--drink and drive --and speed on the trails and we are in trouble!!

I hate to say this because I might regret it later, but as a land owner in MN. where a state trail goes through our property we haven't had any problems with the snowmobilers, I have about a 20 acre hay field that the trail runs along side & even why my grandson runs in the field knowone has veered off the trail to follow his tracks.. Maybe the sign I have set up that say's "Private Property Keep OFF Vietnam Vet on medication with Machine Guns" has something to do with it??
No just kidding I don't have any signs other than the trail signs on my property..

I've been thinking about this a bit...and it occurs to me that if the perps were local, they are VERY STUPID! I can't help but think they are some of the legion of yahoos that come up here every weekend from the state to the south of us.

If they are, it'll make it tougher to ID them, but here's hoping.

Rumor here is 3 are in custody and possibly a fourth. Press Confrence to be held at three. Also did you guys here about the 57 ducks that were ran over Tuesday near Fondulac on Winnebago

Local news was blaring the press conference this afternoon, as if it were a speech by the President.

The incident with the ducks was featured prominently as well.
