Fuel Siphoning

Post by Spitfire79 »

Does anyone know how to drain the bottm end of gas? It appears that the fuel is siphoning into the carbs. I'm sure that there is fuel in the bottom end of the motor. Do I just run the engine or is there a better way?

Fuel Siphoning

Pull your impulse line off, put a rag between the outlet and the tunnel/wiring, and just pull until no more fuel sprays out. I'm pretty sure that all the Kawi JD's were a dry sump. It sounds like your needle/seat is leaking.
