Just give them the part number for the wiseco piston and they can use that and make the right one from that 2012

The Wiseco CW-340-S & the 2012PS are not exactly the same as the OEM 340/S piston.. The 340/S has a slightly shorter skirt length. So we will be sending the correct OEM 295/S & 340/S pistons to Wiseco for EXACT measurements..
I personally won't trade precise measurements for less dollars

I agree with Kenny, if this is only going to happen once, it's important to keep them as close to the OEM specs as possible. I'm in for one set of each.

Hi Kenny/PJ,

You probably have good 340/s samples but keep in mind I have an NOS 340/s set of kioritz pistons if they are needed for this project. I have to contact a buddy this weekend. He may need some pistons too.

Hi Craig,

Get with Kenny on the sample stuff, as he knows what you guy's need and he's the guy gathering the hardware up for Wiseco to use. Thanks for helping out. :beers;

Kenny and PJ,

Thanks for all the legwork on this project. I would be interested in two sets of 340/S pistons.

Will these be complete kits with rings, wrist pins, and curlips?

T-roy I think we're proposing to Wiseco to use their rings, pins, circlips, etc. We'd be buying a piston assembly so later when we need rings they'd be more readily accessible. DA

If someone has a 340-S project sled that they wish to sell to a good home(mine), I would take a set also.

I am still in for 1 set of 295s piston and I might as well buy a set of 340/s. Someday I may own one. And if not they are certainly not going to go down in value and do not take up much space on the shelf.

Update: 2-2-09

I just received some sample parts from Kenny, so I'll be putting a package together this week that will contain these parts, along with all the product data, information, specs, etc. for Wiseco to use during development. This package will be shipped out by the end of the week. :smile:
