Polaris P85 on a 81 LF

Post by ralphy »

I was searching the archives, and I cant find if a P85 Polaris primary will fit a 80-84 LF. I see the bore depth is only .17 different. Can that work with different secondary shims for alignment or will the primary hit the frame? I would like to upgrade to the overdrive. thanks

No but a buddy of mine has a comet clutch, I cant remember the number of it but it was an overdrive. It was a larger diameter than the 108-c. but looked the same it fit on his lf.

ralphy, I just happened to get an e-mail from someone with a Liquifire, also piped, with a Polaris clutch setup. I'll see if I can get you connected to him.

Talk to Jack (Guitardude) I believe he has a bushing to fit a Polaris secondary on a Deere. He is a sponsor for this site. Durand Motorsports
