I took a picture of the 340/S when I brought it home in December of 2007. I'll post a picture of it then and as of today. DA

Very Very nice piece of equipment. Those sleds (dator,295/s and 340/s and the 78 XC) just plain looked right, not to bash polaris, but most of their stuff looked more like farm equipment than Deere ever did.

TakeItToTheLimit wrote:That 340/S was in better shape to start with than I thought...maybe we shouldn't have given the guy in OH such a hard time about it. Anyway, very nice job.

Is the windshield that is installed now from Cannon...I notice it looks simular to the one on it when you purchased it but I do not remember them haveing that long of a flat top edge. I need to check a used original that I have to jog my memory.

-Rich
Rich you are correct in that the sled was very, very nice to start with. When I got to Ohio to pick it up I had to use duct tape to keep the smile off my face.

Yes the windshield is from Jeff (cannonclassics). I still have an issue with a "film" on it but I haven't taken time to use the two products that Jeff suggested. He just makes darn nice windshields.

Alright Don, now get an underhood pic. We've got to see all of that beautiful bling. We also need some action shots of the Busco Bullet doing his thing. :sled: Nice job on the resto.

DA that is one heck of a job you have done! First and fore most you should pat yourself on the back for all the hard work and effort you have put into the sled as it looks awesome! Great job.  Now for your son Bob, I would keep a close eye on him because it seems he has his sights set on that ole number 9 if sometihing were to happen to you. :shifty: I would check your food before you eat at his house again! :lol22:

Remember, I have ridden that sled a total of 4 feet since he has had it. Now, our snow is gone. He keeps telling me how good it is running, blah, blah , blah. Inherit it hell, I wanna ride it.
