It's hard to say,my 72 400 i paid ten dollars for it,had to rebuild the carb, But been riding it for 2 years,put about 1000 miles on it the last two years over 8000 miles on the 72, whe i got it it also had lots of 73 parts on so dont know what to tell ya but i would pay 300 for it looks in good shape,replace the coils on it and run like a deere

I know Dave and he looks the sleds over well and is a square shooter. It will need some work no dought. You can't catch everything just looking at it.
That front bumper will be an issue if you are going for show or resto. The recoil cover is missing. The exhaust may be hard to find.

I just had my running decent looking 72 400 on ebay last week it only got bid up to $190 I had a reserve of $275 sled is not perfect but it runs and moves and I wasnt going to give away a 1st yr deere that ran so I still own it.
