Snow is coming down

Paul,

Looks like north and south are getting snow but not any near the HOF ride. I wish some would fall for everyone heading that way. In northern, MN we got 3" last night. Central WI, nothing as I drove though today.

Well-

I was on the ride that we had to run the lakes 2 years ago...not a bad time considering the consequences of riding on a frozen lake. We did have to shoot a little water under a bridge as I can remember. The old conveyor belt ran not to shabby. Doing the dougnuts on the ice got interesting as well.

I feel badly about this event possibly forgoing into something other than planned.

Robb...get that boat out and you could take it out on the lake, I am sure you guys can find a grill and have a cook out..

Getting just a trickle of snow right now 25 miles North of Wisc. Dells. Only showers predicted for tonight but more in the days to come.

A friend of mine is up in MINOCQUA WI right now for the weekend--Just talked to him tonight--He said there is no riding going on up there except for on the lakes. Looks like a bad weekend for the sledders---My son is in the UP in Marquette--said riding is still good up there--Roads are bare in spots but plenty of snow in the woods.

to bad its not that cold and all the snow is melting away here. was like a blizzard last night. sitin in the shop with a buddy fixing his motorcycle for the season and went inside and jammed on a little guitar for an hour. come outside and everything was white and damn near no visibility.

Northeast Indiana got hammered last night. I can't see the road across the front lawn. Here is a picture of our back yard and some deer that were coming up to feed.

I am posative I've seen that pic before.. Last time I saw it it said it was from northern MN.. About a year or more ago!!

Seriously though, I'm officially as bad as JDJR now; T-3 days and the sled still doesn't have a powerplant or a lot of other neccesities like a seat or a gas tank. Pray for me! Everyone will know that my Hall Of Fame ride (340S) wasn't done if I show up with a 1980 Liquifire!

That picture of those deer was taken last spring on the lake that our cabin is on, Lake Vermilion. It was taken after one of the several spring blizzards we had last spring. More specifically, it was taken by someone whose cabin is on an island called the "Isle of Pines" about two miles down the lake from our place. It made the local news up north and then migrated down to the Mpls/St. Paul news channels and then elsewhere. It is a great picture.
