May Be Moving South!!

My Wife and I are going to be alone, after June, with the last one leaving the nest as they say, and moving down with his Dad, getting ready for College in the fall. I am having a tough time finding work here, and are now starting to look South, to spend our years where their are opportunities, for myself. and my wife can transfer to another store from where she works. We have to hang around, until our lease is up toward the end of the summer

When we make that committment, in the next few weeks, I will be selling all my sleds but one (my Dad's old Panther), including my recently aquired 80 Liquifire, books, tools, and all the snowmobile related stuff I own, from over the last 30 plus years! Most likely will have a yard sale type event at my home, to do that!!

I guess I'll be doing alot more fishing, and spending more time elsewhere. I will miss the winters, if anyone can believe that, and going riding, swap meets, races, etc. in the sport!! Steve

Steve- you mentioned North Carolina in an earlier post elsewhere- where in the state? Belive it or not it does snow significant amounts in the mountains and I have been told there are no real public areas to ride but there are logging roads and the sort- I live in snowless Georgia no where near the snow belt and have in laws in south western Virginia, about two hours north of Asheville, NC which is in the north west corner of the state in the Appalacian/smokie mountain area.

Keep me informed, maybe you and I can form a Dixie vintage sledding association one day!

We have realitives in Jacksonville (non-military), an 2 of my best friends growing up, live in Raleigh, and Winston-Salem. Planning on bringing at least on sled south with me.

I will know more by June!!

Eric, It was nice to meet you at Waconia, and if I do move South, I will make sure that we can meet where there ain't no snow!!

Don't know where you are moving to but my wife live about 20 miles north of branson mo. if you need any help give a holler. Also let me know about your collection because we are thinking of moving north.
