Is anyone planning on bringing parts to swap or is this a swap-free zone?

I am only 50 miles south of Horicon, and requested off for Friday, but was not granted the day off unfortunately. However, if anyone was interested in that fastrac all plastic track I posted about a few weeks back (http://s12.zetaboards.com/jdsleds/topic/5018098/1/) and are driving through the area I have no need for it, and would be willing to to make a trade of some sort, so if interested, send me a PM. I wish I could be there!
Sleds I own
1974 John Deere JDX8. (SOLD)
1975 John Deere JDX4. (SOLD)
1977 John Deere Liquifire 440. (SOLD)
1978 John Deere Cyclone 340. (SOLD)
1980 John Deere Liquifire. (SOLD)
1983 John Deere Liquifire.

I am looking forward to seeing all you guys Thursday night and Friday. We will not have a swap area and Rich is correct that it
is not our intention to do so this year. First show and too much to plan this time. We are bringing about 20 JD sleds inside Tuesday
night and will begin to set up displays. I will be around all day Thursday for anyone wanting to drop off sleds as they arrive.
Don't forget about the party Thursday night .... free food and refreshments to invited guests and members of this site only.
Starts around 5 .......

You all can use the link for the map I provided on the home page.
When this map opens up, scroll in with your mouse wheel right into Horicon where all the icons are.
Click on the icons and information will pop up describing all marked locations. You also can clink on the
information on the left of the page and the map will zoom into the area it describes.
Hope this helps.

I'm heading down Fri am, but not sure what time.
If I plan to display a sled or two, do I head right for the union hall?
I see on the maps where to put the trailer & everything else, but I'm only guessing
that we are to register @ the Union Hall & put the sleds in the designated class
area outside the hall.
Personally I'm usually way early, but IF I have troubles along the way
I don't want to cause a cluster at 11am.

Also - is the Marsh ride or River ride available or is it going to depend
on the next 2-3 days? If someone could post here by Thurs morning
& put up the latest conditions that would be great. It may determine
how many sleds I bring.

Thanks!

At the moment, they are calling for a 15 hour storm starting late tonight.
2" in the far south, up to 5" in Columbia Co. ( Me ) and Dodge Co. ( Horicon area ).

We will see what actually happens.

Snow chances over the northwoods area is better than originally expected, so we are hoping for a bit of fresh cover there as well.

more as this develops

You're right on. I'll be at the Union Hall doing registrations for the show, and we'll put the the sleds in the park, which is right next to the Hall. No big deal if you are a little late.

From the sound of things, the chances of riding in Horicon are not real good. There are some snow storms coming through in the next couple days, so they might get some, but the river may not be ridable. Trailering to the Marsh parking areas might be a possibility if they do get some good snow.

I just got word that there is good riding on the Marsh. It would require dropping your sled by trailer
a block or two away. It will also require a guided ride. Inquire Thursday or Friday when you arrive.
