Well the dator made it through the weekend. Not quite finished as we did not have all the lights working or the seat recovered yet but it ran awesome! Our good old reliable spitfire came home with two trophies again this year. Can't quite beat this one enticer 340 but we run consistently in second place in stock G. Four second place finishes in two years at the two events we go to. I have one pic of my brother on the dator and a video that I shot from the staging area, kind of a bad angle as I am behind him getting ready to race myself.

Saturday's event had 156 sleds show up and close to 250 races run. Sunday was a race in a different town which had 135 sleds and just over 200 races run. Excellent events and thanks the Earl Grey Snow Leopards and Govan Ski Wizards for two great events as always!
We had lots of guys checking out the dator. Some wondering what it was (funny looking Liquifire) and some who knew. Talked to one guy who used to race a 440 Liquifire in 78 ( I think) and said he was quite competitive with it on the ovals in Ontario. The dator got some attention that's for sure. Even had a few offers to buy it.

Nice to see another deere nut close to home. I am in melfort and have a yard full of deere's. I was in nipawin last weekend and was going to earl grey this weekend but something else came up. I have a friend who would have been racing a yamaha and a restored 78 TX at both shows. The yamaha is not pretty but usually wins it is an SRX 340 197????

Hiya Richard and congrats on the trophies. I really wish I could have made it to the drags, but I've been using up all my weekends working on the vintage derby trail. The Liquidator looks awesome and you are really going to turn some head with it here.

Sure, Why Not? I'll give you twenty bucks and leave my Trailfire with you as a guarantee that I'll be back........... On second thought, you can just keep the Trailfire_FIII wrote:
