Thank You JD Sled Riders. It was a great show and a great time. It was really nice to see so many quality JD sleds and memorabilia in one place. Hats off to you guys for such a great job. It was great to see everyone. Also thanks JD Matt. :beers; Last but not least thanks to everyone for signing my banner, especially the "Original John Deere Joe Rainville" :lol22: Duane

I would also like to thank the many parties responsible for putting this together - Matt & the Sled Riders put on a great show. It was nice to chat with many friends both old and new; and next time I'll make it a point to attend the Thurs evening gathering :beers; :beers;

There was a wealth of history and talent on display. I for one can't wait for Waconia 2010 - I'm confident we'll show them there is plenty of interest in the Deere lineup.

It sounds like it was a awesome time.. I am only an hour away, but failed to make it there. I have been block sanding and prepping my '69 Mustang for the paint, the funds and time are tight. Too bad the snow we are getting is a few days late. Any count on how many sleds were there?

I hope everyone enjoyed it. It went pretty well from my point of view, but what really matters is the what the participants thought, so please feel free to e-mail me with any feedback. mattcs@comcast.net

ralphy, don't feel to bad about being an hour away and not being able to make it. Rainville drove all the way from New York and newer showed up. Maybe he can explain in more detail, I don't think the rest of use could quite understand.

Had a great time. These guys did top notch job planning this. I was very impressed. Some of the nicest sled you will ever see. Thanks for all the work you guys did to put this together and thanks to Joe for a place to stay. It was good meeting all of you guys from the board. Can't wait until next time. Jesse

I only wish there was more young people there. I kinda of felt like the odd man out being only 22 years old, but how many guys my age are John Deere fanatics? I still had a hell of a good time browsing through the stacks of John Deere memorbilia, seeing my first 'dator, and all the John Deere clothing was cool.

I'm 19 and i just got my first Deere runnin. It is a '73 600 that my grandfather bought new. I'm trying to locate his old 400, and purchase an 800 from a neighbor.

I would like to see more young guys in this hobbie to preserve these machines for future generations!

I try to keep my age a mute point, I am 22 tho. I have been working on and driving deere for many years now. This year has gotten intense buying 6 sleds.
Glad to hear you all had a good time! Can't wait to see pics!

Kind of surprized there are not more posts. The attendence on friday was great with many faces I did not recognize. Besides meeting the JD Sled Riders I didn't know previously the only member here I met for the first time was Spailfire. Duane
